When do I turn in my 3 year pledge-the amount I anticipate giving over a 3 year period of time?
Either on this Tues, Oct. 19 at the Pacesetter’s Dessert event, or on Sunday, October 31 at one of our worship services. No money is collected at this time-just commitment cards.
When do I make my first financial contribution?
On Sunday, November 14 at one of our worship services. This is First Fruits Sunday. We’re asking you to give as much of your 3 year commitment as you possibly can. Every dollar given up front is like giving 2 dollars because it’s one less dollar we have to borrow. Obviously, some people will be able to give all or a big portion at once, and others will only be able to give a smaller portion of their 3 yr commitment.
I plan on contributing to the Building a Legacy campaign, is it really necessary for me to fill out a commitment card?
Yes-the commitment cards will allow us to manage our finances appropriately. It will also ensure that we manage our work with the banking institution in a wise, prudent manner.
Should I give to the Legacy Fund weekly, monthly, or annually?
Give in a way that is best for you. Some people find it easier to give weekly or monthly, but this is something you can decide personally.
Can I change my pledge later on?
Yes, because the future of all of us is uncertain. Some of us will be blessed so that we can increase our pledge. Unfortunate circumstances beyond our control may force some of us to lower or cancel our pledge entirely.
Will my pledge be kept in strict confidence?
Yes, every 3yr commitment will be held in strict confidence.
